Crises send us into the unknown – without knowing whether we will ever come back whole.
Crises can hit our most sore areas and stop, weaken or paralyze us.
Crisis can be destructive.
In short, crisis often is a terrible experience, and therefore something we fear.
Unfortunately, however, crisis is not always something we choose consciously.
Often we are “thrown into” a crisis or “end up” in a crisis.
And what do we do then?
We are, of course, doing the best we have learned.
But even this best is not always enough to keep us floating.
In my own experience, you need help when you are in a crisis.
Massive help even.
You need to quickly gather other perspectives and competences than before.
“One can not solve a problem with the same consciousness that created it,” Einstein said.
If you want to get well through a crisis then you need to upgrade your awareness.
Aswell as your toolbox, mindset, habits, self-perception, life-sight and practice.
I know what I am talking about because I have experienced a crisis, when I lost my 7-year-old son after six months with highly aggressive incurable cancer.
It is 6 years ago and I learned more from this crisis than from any education, relationship, job or leadership position I have had.
Now I am ready to share what got me through, and how to go up instead of down from a crisis.
That’s why I’ve created a new course for you who know about crisis and would like to turn it into a quantum leap.

* ekstrem fattigdom

I sin bog The Meaning of the 21st Century skriver James Martin, at han frygter, at menneskeheden er på vej ind i en ny middelalder – hvis vi da overhovedet overlever.
Det nye er, at hvor evolutionen plejede at være bestemt af de problemer, naturen lagde i vejen for arterne, er vores nuværende problemer menneskeskabte.
De kan ikke modvirkes med den tankegang, der har frembragt dem.
De er så omfattende, at de ikke kan løses af hverken individer eller nationer.
Og vi har afsindig travlt, hvis vi skal nå det i tide.
“Much of what needs to be done is not happening”, skriver Martin. “Todays computer models show that we are not adapting quickly enough because we are not thinking ahead. (…) Today´s young people will collectively decide whether civilization survives or not.
Jorden befinder sig i en voldsom ubalance, der er skabt af for meget yang energi og for lidt yin.”

Derfor spiller jeg i dag den sang, der har inspireret mit virksomheds navn: Illumina.
Illumina betyder “oplys mig”.
Og jeg mener det netop er oplysning, vi har brug for nu.
Lys på problemerne – og en ny bevidsthed at løse dem med.
Fokus på lyset – ikke på at genskabe en mørk middelalder med teknologisk overdrive og for lidt fokus på humaniteten.
Du kan bruge sangen til at tage en yin pause.
Luk øjnene og fokusér på, hvor i dit eget liv, du har brug for lys.
Og når du selv står overfor store problemer, så kald på Lyset.
Vi ved, at det rent neuroligisk, biokemisk og kreativitetsmæssigt gør en stor forskel.
Hvor stress, bekymringer og angst lukker for kreativiteten, åbner vi for den med bøn og fokus på lyspunkterne.
